Gretal is a wonderful addition to our program-she is a littermate to our program sire "Rowdy" that came from Stacey Helsel, Kylie ACDs in GA. Since she shares a pedigree with Rowdy, she traces to a very versatile, accomplished family of cattle dogs-including successful conformation champions, agility, obedience & herding winners.  She had her first litter of pups in 2012 and they were really excellent-watch for 3 of them in herding trials soon! Gretal will readily bite a nose or heel on cattle, and has a strong, yet controllable, herding drive. Gretal is expecting Spader Vintage Vaquero pups again in June 2014. We are very pleased to say her breeder, Stacey Helsel, thought enough of this cross that she will be selecting a female for herself.

Here's "Isabel", a really great daughter of Gretal by Spader Vintage Vaquero. She's showing her stuff on cattle at a recent "Cow Camp" at Kuawarri Kennels. Isabel is owned by Elizabeth Webber of Nova Scotia, who also provided the pictures.
